Dear Church,
Genesis 32:24-28
24 This left Jacob all alone in the camp, and a man came and wrestled with him until the dawn began to break. 25 When the man saw that he would not win the match, he touched Jacob’s hip and wrenched it out of its socket. 26 Then the man said, “Let me go, for the dawn is breaking!” But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” 27 “What is your name?” the man asked. He replied, “Jacob.” 28 “Your name will no longer be Jacob,” the man told him. “From now on you will be called Israel, because you have fought with God and with men and have won.”
There is a new dawn and a new day coming according to God’s prophetic word. It’s like when the sun rises early in the morning, it speaks of a new day breaking forth. Everything that was dark the night before will now give way to light. No matter how dark it was a few hours before, now darkness has to give way because light is permeating the atmosphere. So when God’s word is released to us, it’s like the breaking of a new dawn.
Let me prophesy to you. Everything of darkness cannot hold you anymore. Start to expect the unexpected. Expect God to do amazing things in your life. Expect to break limitations and believe God to accomplish great things because this year 2012 is going to be a year of high visibility and maximum impact.
Ephesians 1:11
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.
Everything that belongs to Jesus also belongs to us. The bible says we are joint heirs with Christ to rule and reign with Him.
His name, His blood, His power, His gifts are all ours to use to live a victorious Christian life. As sons, we have full access to God and we do not have to live our lives in fear and anxiety. We do not have to worry about the economic storms of life or the outbreak of all kinds of diseases around us. Instead we can live our lives with confidence knowing that God our Father has absolute control of everything in our lives on earth.
This year, let begin to partner with God in total obedience to His written and revealed Word, allowing God’s Word to govern on the inside of us, for surely God will manifest Himself in His glory in this year of high visibility and maximum impact.
